very nice Nick, shame I was away.

The pics look better now the grass has grown over the black topsoil!

Very nice shot's there :D

Is that a Omani C-17 or something in the background of the first shot, along with a 787 BBJ?

The rest of the shot's are brilliant  thanks for these

I was over the other side on the mound this Saturday morning. Wife and son came back from CAG in the afternoon so took the opportunity of a bit of spotting and photography. Better light on the south side but will post some of my shots from the other side in a few days. One of the Ryanair crews was curious as to what your group were up to to after he landed and taxied onto stand. Reassured by the controller that you were quite legit!

Thanks for the kind comments.

Andy yes, the grass is a revelation! It looks like the black soil that nothing previously grew in has had new turf laid on top of it (although I can't believe it has). Quite a transformation, and as you say, looks far better in the shots than the bare black soil.

James it is Qatari C-17, and a UAE Government 787. Sadly neither moved while we were there!

Caravelle, we heard that little conversation on GMC too - made us chuckle.
