Stansted 15-08-2017, 2nd Turkmenistan IL.76

the second Turkmenistan IL.76 of the current series of flights arrived at Stansted this morning and this time I wasn't double booked. unfortunately the sun was also double booked and went elsewhere just before it arrived. As a result my pics are nowhere near as good as those posted last week but I've got 2 more chances to get it in sunlight so fingers crossed.

this arrived about 20 minutes earlier so I used it to check settings but of course it all changed soon after

(and look at that blue sky in the background, 2 miles to the south and it would have been okay)

and just to rub it in the Pegasus A320 neo arrived a short while afterwards - yes you've guessed it - in bright sunshine which lasted for the rest of the visit (and the day) even bigger

and finally the Etihad Cargo 777 arrived in decent light so I got something worthwhile in the end but the top target got away this time

met up with porkscratching for a while and Sam (one of the UKAR mods) so had plenty to chat about between arrivals, and not just the sun!
