I got back from a week in Tenerife yesterday evening and managed a few photos at Stansted while waiting to depart, some were taken from the aircraft as we pushed back, a nice surprise was the Honeywell 757 departing for a 2 hour flight before going off to Paris later in the day. amazing that the weather at Stansted was better than Tenerife (which I will prove shortly!).....

Had the Honeywell 757 ott Peterborough at FL200 on a flight over East Anglia from STN just midday on the 16th. My shot was a little more distant! Karl

Blimey, cargo variety!
Jammy that you got the Honeywell 757 Nearly wet myself when I saw this at Amsterdam shame when I saw it, it was at 9pm so it was dark
Looks like you had a bit of ground heat too?

there was a reasonable selection but Stansted does get lots of cargo variety, one of the good things about the place. Main ones I can think of are FedEX, UPS, Cargolux, Qatar, Atlas/Panalpina, Martinair, China Southern, Asiana; the West Atlantic 767 day stops nearly every day (as do the UPS 767 & 757) I think that works for UPS. A few Fed Ex feeders and a weekly Etihad 777. The Icelandair flights are a recent feature and appear to be operating a regular schedule although they were originally said to be just a couple of specials.
I knew the Honeywell 757 was about but was chuffed when it taxied out past the terminal but the heat haze was a problem, it was very hot (hotter that Tenerife when we arrived there).
