Wow!! What a variety of Brussels home fleet airliners! Nice shot of the red devils, and not seen/heard of the last one before which also looks great.

Nice mini set there, were these taken near Zaventem on the approach by any chance near to wherr the new viewing deck should be?

All pictures were taken on approach 25L in the field near the "watertoren" ( see link Google Maps ). The coördinates of the new ( read the first ) viewing deck is not certain. Its even not certain if they are going to build one. Brussels Airport is Pro, but the cities of Zaventem en Steenokkerzeel are not so pleased.  They have fear of "too much traffic" in the area.

welcome back to spotting after the 'year of lack of time' - like you I wonder where the time goes!

Great pics, I haven't been to Brussels airport since 1986 and that was only by accident - my flight back from Athens diverted there because of fog at Gatwick and then the crew were out of hours so we spent about 8 hours there first waiting for the new crew to arrive and then for the fog to clear at Gatwick so we could return!

Of all the passengers on the flight there was only one who didn't complain about the day at the airport - ME!!!!!!!!!
Andygolfer (or at least I was once), now just plane crazy
