Hi
Went down specifically to get shots of the Royal brunei departing and Azerbaijan arriving.
Weather was a bit on and off, but here are some of the various Dreamliners i caught in a 6 hour stay, starting at 27 Left for departures:

B787 XA-AMR London Heathrow 10.06.17-2 by Jonathan Francis, on Flickr

B787 G-ZBKI London Heathrow 10.06.17 by Jonathan Francis, on Flickr
B787 G-VZIG London Heathrow 10.06.17-1 by Jonathan Francis, on Flickr
B787 N805AN London Heathrow 10.06.17-1 by Jonathan Francis, on Flickr
B787 G-VBZZ London Heathrow 10.06.17 by Jonathan Francis, on Flickr
First objective achieved:

B787 JY-BAA London Heathrow 10.06.17 by Jonathan Francis, on Flickr
B787 5Y-KZA London Heathrow 10.06.17 by Jonathan Francis, on Flickr
Mad dash round to the other side to get the 27R arrivals:
B787 G-ZBKP London Heathrow 10.06.17-1 by Jonathan Francis, on Flickr
Sadly, the sun started to go very quiclky after 8 with possibly the best 2 arrivals due around 9
ISO ramped up, shutter speed down for Brand new Air Canada C-FRTU
B787 C-FRTU London Heathrow 10.06.17-5 by Jonathan Francis, on Flickr
and even more so for the one i really wanted!!
B787 VP-BBS London Heathrow 10.06.17-14 by Jonathan Francis, on Flickr

Re: Dreamy afternoon at Heathrow.....
most of them look very good Jon but I think your comment may have just been referring to the last one. The only downside to that is that the light didn't play ball on the last one but that's out of your control anyway but rather annoying if that was one of your main targets.
One thing I did notice is that the actual image size is a bit small but if you follow the link to your flickr album and look at them at original size they are larger and look more impressive. Their sizes are 1024 pixels wide so maybe if you make the originals larger say 1200 or even 1500 pixels wide you will get images that fill the column width on here (the CA page software should reduce them to it's maximum if they are too large) and that may make them look a bit smarter on here.
now looking forward to the others.
Andy

Re: Dreamy afternoon at Heathrow.....
Thanks chaps, yeah i was specifically talking about the AZAL, will try again for that one
I always put my pics onto Flickr as 1024x683, but for some reason put them on here as medium. I shall do a quick one of the others from last sat at that size and see if it makes any difference, cheers for the advice

Re: Dreamy afternoon at Heathrow.....
I agree with Andy, they are great and despite the light you got two actually good record shot's of the Air Canada 787, which looks fantastic, and the Azerbaijan 787. It's not the light that's the problem, it's the airliners fault for flying in at late hours
The other's are fantastic, I do like the Royal Brunei livery. The close shot's of the Jordanian and China 787's are brilliant too, I always like different angles sometimes that make's it different from the standard shot's
