I was at Stansted on Saturday for the monthly planewatch meet up at the Aerozone. Despite the failure of the rumoured An.22 to arrive (not sure what happened to it or where the rumour started

) there was a good selection of aircraft for us and the weather got better as the morning progressed until the heat haze (I'd almost forgotten what heat haze was) started to become a problem at least on the more distant shots. Here's a fairly extensive selction of my photos.....
firstly I went out on the approach to get some pics of the Cargolux 747 in sunlight:
