Having tried my new toy at Kemble with light aircraft, I took it out on it's first outing to Heathrow. As I was in London for the Southern Model Expo on the Saturday, me and my friend pulled into Heathrow on the Sunday, which was a dry day (won't count the 1 minute of rainfall) but unfortunately was mostly grey though there was a bit of light near the end, but not much, so was a bit tricky for me to not only get the right setting's but also get used to the manual focus on the 70-300 lens. I managed to screw up quite a few, and while some of those looked great in the distance, they were really blurry when I zoomed in, some to the point I couldn't even read the serial
Still, some I don't think were too bad, I'd have like to have tried it on a blue sky day though, maybe another time!
Any constructive criticism or tips will be most useful so I can get the most out of my D3100. All have been edited in Photoshop Elements, any advice with that will also be appreciated especially if you think I've overdone a photo or something.
