a cold afternoon at Stansted today to get pics of the Bombardier CS100 and the bonus of a 727 as well...

we started off at the 04 approach for a while

then it was back to where we started to get pics of the B.727 M-STAR arriving, I decided that with the sun almost gone there was not enough light for pics on the runway so it had to be these on finals:

thanks Alan, I've been waiting for a chance to get a decent pic of the 727 for ages, I'm fairly pleased with it but had it arrived 10 minutes earlier the sunset would have lit it really well (I'd say perfectly but that would only be my opinion). Still quite happy with what I got.
