Hello all,
I am still fairly new to aircraft photography,
I had a sigma 70-300mm then decided I wanted to upgrade so I purchased a Tamron SP 70-300 VC for my D3200,
I took a couple of test pics at Newcastle earlier to try it out and was just looking for some feedback on the photos,
I am no expert or professional and would just like some honest feedback to see if the lens is doing as it should, is there anything I need to improve ?
Thank you.

Newcastle New Lens Test
Re: Newcastle New Lens Test
They look OK to me Liam, however I think you've over-sharpened them a little as some of the straight lines have "jaggies" along them. If you look at the nose-gear doors in the first shot then you'll see what I mean (however they look OK on your Flickr ! ).
That's a very nice lens you have there.

Thank you mike,
Much appreciated,
I'd rather ask and see if I'm doing correctly than make a mess of it,
All the info and critique helps me understand and learn more,
Thank you for the heads up I'll have another fine tune with the original and the sharpness

Hello Liam_89,
I'm no expert much but I can say I'd be pretty darn chuffed myself!
That first shot..
