Thomas Cook A330 sunset shot

I'd heard we had an A330 in the circuit training at Robin Hood airport. Living and working only a few miles away, but being snowed under with work I thought I'd try and catch it at the end of the day on my way home. Despite the gloomy conditions the clouds parted just at the right moment as it banked in to land . I stayed for a couple of circuits before it got way to dark and out of 50+ shots this was the only one that was any good, but I was pushing my luck with the settings trying to shoot at 1/160 second or slower at 450mm is not so good even with VR/VC!

This aircraft (G-VYGK) is on lease from AirTanker, the UK operator of the RAF's air to air refuelling capability, to Thomas Cook for civilian use.
