Not a photography expert by any means but to me that A380 photo is a cracking one and one I'd be delighted to have taken.

yes again ,that A.380 is excellent. They are all good especially from a compact. The only one that is not as good for me is the Air Transat, that looks a bit light and washed out. great set though and well done

thanks for posting them

I 2nd Andy on that, great results from a compact. A nice Free Tool called Picasa might come handy for you, my personal is when taking ground shots, i like a nice straight horizon, but thats just my personal preference

Nice set thou, look forward to others
All the best

Thanks for the comments......I'm here to learn! (even aircraft type) as pre mentioned it is not a hobby, I just take my son to watch the planes & take the camera along, but I am thinking of buying a DSLR & taking more interest but require advice on lenses etc.
I have got Picasa on my PC but the shots were downloaded onto a tablet, when I get time I'll download & edit a few, since the comments I have noticed the few I took at the same time as the Air Transat are all pale.
Incidentally the A380 was take from a staff car park so I could basically drive to any angle needed, so if I do pursue my interest I'll keep the car park pass :)

cracking set
got to be the Etihad A380 for me too
right contrast, size, quality not easy when thing moving and the compact's find the target hard to lock on to
might help drop the contrast down a bit, shame the Air Transat came out bright as it did
but welcome to the site, good set and sure time patience will bring out some stunners
good luck
