AMS Schiphol - Taxiway Q - 21/07/2016
Hello all,
And my final Amsterdam July visit batch to show you is from another new spot tried after visiting the end of runway 27 at Rozenburg.
I took the bus round to somewhere I couldn't pronounce (though I wrote it down, the driver still hadn't heard of it!) though got off at the right bus stop anyway, and took the very short walk to the spot by taxiway Q, now officially my absolute favorite spot!
Ok, you do miss some of the civil heavies as they tend to taxi the other way, but for European stuff and cargo's, as it's by the cargo ramps, it's brilliant. With no fence in the way and the taxiway right in front of you, it's quite unreal, my jaw fell through the flaw as a mighty Boeing 747-8F came rolling by with the wingtip in your face
Highly recommended to anyone who is trying new spots. Here's my collection from taxiway Q:
On loan to Austrian Airlines D-ASXD
My first Alitalia 'I' reg sighting! (Excluding the ones dumped at Kemble)
C&C is most welcome, hope you have enjoyed them!
James.

Incredible! I hear amazing things about Schiphol and really want to go there for a weekend and try some of these spotting sites.

Not tried that spot. Normally go to 18R/36L. Will have to try to find it next time I'm over there.
