On Monday, I spent the day at Amsterdam, flying bmi baby from & to BHX. We landed on 18R at AMS and departed off 36L so long taxy in & out. BMI baby (along with the other loco's) use Pier H which is pretty useless for spotting. I spent the day on the excellent viewing terrace although heat haze did make reading off the biz at Schipol Oost quite difficult.

As usual with AMS, throughtout the day they were costantly changing the runway in use but with the help of the screens at the entrance to the viewing deck (they still show the aircraft reg) & regular checks of the Scramble Forum on my Blackberry, not a great deal was missed (just a Belavia B737 and a THY A320 of any real interest).

In the log, I haven't included all the KLM's although all the E190's were in & out (although I came back still needing three, they were listed on the screens but I was unlucky with the runway changes). There are plenty of Fk50's and Fk100's parked up by the hangars.

Delta have a large presence at Amsterdam now with around 12 (ex Northwest) A330's noted and around 5 B763's aswell
