It's probably a daft question, but what do they have changed exactly?

Is it all of the undercarriage, or just parts of it? I've never heard of this happening with any airline before. :???:

Both NLG and MLG are completely changed, Not sure exactly how many takeoff/landings before its required
but I am told its A CAA regulation so has to be done. The Set removed is sent away to be tested (For fatigue/stress etc) then re-furbished.
best I can tell you. normally takes 4 to 5 days to do a complete Undercarriage change on a A319. You can expect to see a lot of
easyJet A319s in/out of Cambridge over the coming months as they appear to have a major contract with the Airline. Not sure if this also
includes the A320 fleet Only 1 example been in so far but that was for repairs.

The Aircraft was in Cambridge For Passenger seat removal and APU change.
The Aircraft will then return back to Cambridge sometime in January 2016.
Its no longer to be operated by easyJet as there lease of this Aircraft from GECAS has finished
And will be Re-painted at Cambridge for Allegiant Air, this will be the 3rd example to Come
