Post by GCIJem » Wed May 30, 2018 6:46 pm

Despite it's relatively short runway of 1463m GCI has had a fair mix of larger (by island standards) jet visitors over the years, here's a selection...

What a blast from the past. Count the airlines that have gone.
Brought back memories.
Thanks
Pete.

Great memories with many of those airlines and airliners.

My memory of holidays to Guernsey in '70s and 80's is the daily City Hopper Fokker 28.

Thanks for posting.

Plenty there to take me back to 1980s. Always a pleasure to see 1-11s and Caravelles. Some tasty JT8D powered Boeings too.

Awesome set with many memories from the 80s and 90s. Still struggling to work out the Government of Burkina Faso decided to visit the Island. It was along way from its base in Ouagadougou.

My guess would be that it had something to do with an offshore bank account, but who knows.
