PFA Fly In, Cranfield 1984

Post by GCIJem » Sat Apr 07, 2018 3:34 pm

I along with other members of the Guernsey Society of Aviation Enthusiasts attended the PFA Fly in at Cranfield flying in on BN Islander G-BHXI operated by Euroair. To clear customs we had to land at Luton on the inbound & outbound sectors & where the handling agent took us all on a ramp tour - happy days).
Here's a selection of pics from that hot July day back in '84.

Those were the days, lots of foreign visitors.
Interesting to see some aircraft that are still regular at events today.
Thanks.

Pete.

Wow ! That's a great set of shots - I logged about 600 aircraft that day, walked miles in the blazing heat up and down the lines of aircraft, no hat, no sunscreen, and really suffered for it for days afterwards.
