Howard 500 West Malling

Post by LondonEye » Sat Dec 16, 2017 6:44 pm

N500LN a rare Howard 500 at West Malling airshow in September 1983.
About 1984, it went to Exeter, and stayed for years, before returning to America. I believe there are only two airworthy at present time.

Pete.

Lovely aircraft - but look at that ground clearance or rather lack of one!

This returned from the US a few years ago and visited Coventry several times between 2010-2012

I'm not sure if it is still in Europe or went back to the US?

:D

Saw it at Coventry a few years back where it was being tidied up for I believe a trip back to the States. Bit of a search on the net reveal it is based in Minnesota.
