another CA member visits Bristol Aerospace Museum

Post by andygolfer » Fri Nov 10, 2017 9:28 pm

I've spent the week in Bath and yesterday tempted by Roger (seacat's) recent post Ivisited Bristol and the newly opened Aerospace museum. As he explained it's in 2 parts really - all but one of the exhibits (of which there are many - aircraft, vehicles and missiles etc) are in 3 of the very old but refurbished original hangars and Concorde G-BOAF is in a brand new purpose built exhibition hangar and what an exhibition it is. My pics of the non concorde part were mostly the same angle's as Roger's so I won't repeat them so here are some of the Concorde hall, hopefully with a few different angles...

Nice set Andy - thanks for the mention too!

Have to admit I didn't see the panel that the last crew signed, so a return visit is ino rder sometime......................

Was The Mall out of bounds while you visited the Museum, or were you over-ruled??

Thanks Roger, no we didn't visit the Mall as we were a bit short on time due to meeting the wife's cousin for lunch. however I somehow forgot to mention the existence of said Mall!
