Whipsnade Zoo, 30/07/15

Post by TheMightyOz » Sat Aug 01, 2015 9:57 am

Made the short trip to Whipsnade Zoo on Thursday. Don't think I've been there since I was about 6 years old! It's a tad pricey, but was a great day out. I got there when they opened at 10am, must've walked miles and didn't leave until they were closing at 6pm. Spent a fortune on food and drink. Will definitely take a packed lunch next time. Anyway, here are some photos. I hope you enjoy them.

lovely pics Mark. I've not been there for about 30 years myself.

You should have leant through the mesh on the tiger pic to avoid getting the mesh in the pic though

Will have to take a drone next time, to capture the more elusive animals. :D

I'm very surprised that nobody had thought of that before - can only be a matter of time I suppose - eyeball to eyeball with a tiger!! I await your pics :)

I supposed I shouldn't be surprised, at least this appears to be the keepers operating it.

I expect somebody will try to use one from outside a zoo to capture images before long though - 'Regents Park naughty field'?
