SPOTM July 2014 voting poll – 1st CHOICE VOTE & RESULTS

This is the voting poll for the July2014 Special Photo Of The Month competition, the subject was ‘bizjets’

Please submit your THREE votes using the 3 polls provided. The 3 polls are titled 1st choice, 2nd choice and 3rd choice, you will be allowed 1 vote in each. Every first choice vote will receive 3 points. The 2nd choice votes will receive 2 points and the 3rd choice votes 1 point. The winner will be the entry which gains the most points, NOT the most votes. In the event of a tie the winner will be the entry with the most 1st choice votes and if still equal the most 2nd choice votes and if still equal the result will be a tie.

THIS IS THE POLL FOR YOUR FIRST CHOICE VOTE WORTH 3 POINTS

- The poll will run for 10 days from the time of creation
- Please don't vote for yourself! There is no way to enforce this, just an honesty policy

so rather embarrasingly I have to annouce myself as winner with 31 points (thanks to everyone who voted for me) and far less embarrasingly that Bizfreeq was second with 17 and Melly 3rd with 16 - well done to both of them and thanks to everybody who entered and to everyone who voted.

I will post the results in the Hall of Fame later and now that the poll has ended I will also discuss this voting format in the topic where it was discussed previously with anyone who wishes to join in (I will show a comparison of how the number of votes compared to the points affected placings but for now I will confirm it did not affect 1st or 2nd places).
