How to Post Photos on Civilian Aviation

Post by CivilianAviation » Mon Nov 16, 2009 8:38 pm

1. Register with an image hosting site. The best and most common site used is Flickr :- www.flickr.com you may upload a maximum of 1,000 images to Flickr for free, but if you wish to upload more then you have to pay a yearly subscription. (Price is £55.88 as at November 2021)

2. When you have registered you can create your own albums within your Flickr account i.e. "Mildenhall 05-03-19" or "Lakenheath F-15s" etc. In each album you will see an option to Upload. Select this option and then Browse your computer for the images you wish to upload. Once you have located the images, click Upload and your images will now appear in your album online.

3. See the following thread for instructions on how to download images from Flickr to the forum :- viewtopic.php?f=11&t=4446&p=56121#p56121

Please note:
If you delete or move images in your Flickr account, they will no longer appear in your post, as this will break the links.
