EGNT 26.07.13

Post by flour power » Mon Jul 29, 2013 8:13 pm

Hi all.

Due to work and other stuff, I've not been able to get out very much in the last couple of months so I thought I'd make up for that by hanging around Newcastle while the airshow trade arrived. The following is some of the civilian stuff that caught my eye.

As always, please feel free to comment as you see fit.

And finally, from 27.07.13...

Thank you gents.

I don't mind at all Mr. Nutter. :) The 'left - right' images were all taken from the crash gate to the north of the 25 threshold and the others from the junction of Coach Lane and Main Road, again at the 25 end. The Boeing 737 from 27.07.13 was taken from the Freight Village at the 07 end. If you view the images on my Flickr account I've marked the exact locations on the map.

You're welcome Will.

There's plenty of parking in Coach Lane. If you turn into Coach Lane from Main Road there is on-verge parking on either side of the road within 50 yards of the junction. Each is capable of taking three or four cars. If these are full, about 100 yards on the right is a nature reserve car park. Avoid the doggers and you'll be fine. :)

There is no parking or access at the Freight Village and you'll be moved on from this area. Access is only available when the airport is hosting the Sunderland Airshow trade.

I hope this helps but if you need any more info please don't hesitate to ask.

Thank you Laurie. I've been trying a new processing work flow.

The new work flow certainly seems to have worked here.

Can I ask what editor(s) you are using?

Laurie.

Thanks Laurie. :)

I shoot in RAW which I open via Adobe Adobe Bridge into Photoshop Camera Raw where I do most of the adjustments before any final tweaking in CS6.
