Manchester Runway 23L Heavies - 16-09-2019
Hello All, Finally made my first visit to Manchester Airport on Saturday 16th September, with a 3 hour drive leaving at 5am, stayed at a lodge at nearby Wilmslow for a 2 day session especially it being a way up from Wiltshire for a day out, so was worth staying. Parked at the Airport Inn and paid th...

Wow!
Cracking shot's Andy as always
That Virgin A350 look's strange, mind you so does the BA one. Strange in the way of not used to seeing the liveries on this, will become normal eventually though!

Thank you, very interesting!! Were you near the road?
If you saw someone with a fold up chair, and wearing a black Airbus A350 T-shirt, that was me, if you were much further down the tree line from the road you probably didn't see me

London Heathrow Bank Holiday Monday 26/08
Hello all, Not been on here for quite some time! And apart from Fairford RIAT I haven't really been anywhere recently plane spotting, only do RIAT because I get a discounted ticket at work on our coach (any plane spotting I have done has been on working away trips, so logging rather than photos) Nev...

Manchester Spotting South side by car and the mound
Hello all, Couple of questions as I'm looking at booking a hotel for 14th September for one night for a weekend spotting at Manchester, not been before, but looking for one with free cancellation the day before in case the weathers bad. Can I park the car at the Airport Inn or do you need to be a gu...

Birmingham Car Park 5 on the day
Hello all, Can you turn up on the day with a car for Car Park 5 or is it pre-book only? Website mentions a lot about pre-booking but nothing that specifically states 'pre-booking is not essential' On a drive up north on Saturday and depending on the weather I'm thinking of pulling off the M42 into t...

A partially dull day on the 6th March but some nice heavies, nice to see the two Eurowings/Brussels Airlines A340's too, and have a good close view of the Emirates A380 which makes a A320 and B737 around it look like toys  All taken from the viewing deck https://live.staticflickr.com/7923/33661...

Brilliant mix there Andy
Cracking shots, didn't even know there was such thing as a Atlas Global 330!
Love the KLM Cargo 747, looks a bit more 'fresher' than the old livery that was getting rather battered on these

Re: USA trip , day one LAX
Blimey, what a fantastic view from that hotel!
Those backgrounds make the photo's look interesting, love the Kalitta 747 and the Frontier A320 shots, nice shot of a new Delta A350 too
USA is still on my to-do list, so interesting to see more from the places you visited
James.

Re: March 2019 Photo of the month (POTM) competition
Not much to choose from for me, but thought I'd enter this Eurowings / Sun Express A330 D-AXGF with 'Las Vegas' titles taking off from Dusseldorf Airport on the 4th March on a flight to Bridgetown. Re: Dusseldorf Airport 4th March 2019
Thank you Wallie! Certainly was the right day to go for them! Those TUI one's seem to move about, didn't see the Robinson's one again, seemed to have popped over to Frankfurt and Hamburg for some operations out of there. Only special I didn't get to phot was the Sun Express 'Der Grinch'. Only ever s...

Dusseldorf Airport 4th March 2019
Hello all, Spent a week at Dusseldorf and a bit of time at Cologne last week for my 32nd birthday, a couple of days at the airport and the rest doing 'other' things. Flew to Cologne on the 3rd March on Ryanair from Bristol as the direct link to Dusseldorf was cut now FlyBMI had disappeared, then a c...

Very good set Mike!
Agreed, the bird-scare shot is something rather different!
Absolute cracking set, enjoyed all of these, lovely catch of the Norwegian Unicef 737, and those prop shots too are just fantastic, I think my fav of those is the Flybe Crash 8 and the Logan Saab

Re: Rainy, but sunny day at Eindhoven
Some cracking shot's Zonan! Loved all the touchdown shot's, but the TUI 737 pan shot & take off shot is my favorite, as is the Transavia with the red anti-col lights is fantastic   Though the two Transavia wet shot's are worth a mention, they are both beautiful shots. Sometimes it's good...
