Re: diversions into newcastle 19/12/2010
Interesting set of pics. I went up to the cargo village to see them and could only see two 747s! Who says they're too big to hide.

Newcastle spotting locations
Has anyone ever used the bridleway under the 07 approach for a photography location?
Could you post any pics taken from there?
Thanks

NCL - 20/08/2010
Currently sat at the end of 25. It's absoloutly dead but I can confirm Alan Shearer has just made an approach to 25 (via coach lane) using callsign AS2000. He took a right turn before the threshold and I observed poor use of turn indication lights.

Re: Newcastle Airport - 75th Anniversary - 26th July 2010
I was up there today and saw no evidence that the viewing area was open. There are very big blue fences around what I presume from the map is the car parking.

Re: What can you See! ( from home)
Not much from home (unless you count the police helicopter which always seems to be over my house at 2 am)
My current office has a nice view of the apporach to RWY 25 at NCL. Great for noting anything interesting then popping down at lunch time for a better look.

A pic from the approach to Newcastle 25. It was taken from the Big Water nature reserve.
