Re: Edinburgh July 2011 (Pic Heavy)

Thanks for your reply.

I would only usually do a spot of spotting at Edinburgh if i'm at the Royal Highland Centre for Truckfest or whatever. Wouldn't mind a wee blast along the M8 more often.

Cheers,

Daniel

Re: Edinburgh July 2011 (Pic Heavy)

Hi,

Excellent set of photographs, I especially like the Egyptian A330 and the Easyjet A319 is very nicely presented.

Is Ingliston car park the car park for the Royal Highland Centre? If so, what access is available when there is no events on at the Royal Highland Centre?

Re: GLA Glasgow Wed 23rd July 2014 ( 20photos )

Good evening, From what I remember from past few years, summer Saturday's are usually excellent with the usual 757's and 777's and so on, but also 747's and more recently 787's. However, from what I have read this summer it is to be more spread out during the week, which is a shame! I'm always keen ...

Good evening,

I agree with Mike on this one. But, if you are interested, keep an eye on http://www.egph.co.uk over the next couple of days and the visitor may be documented. There is usually a delay of 2-3 days for updates.

Re: Sydney in January

Good afternoon,

As far as I can see from all the pictures I see from Sydney, it looks to be one of the best airports in the world for views of aircraft. I'd love to make a visit myself, but a bit far away!

Cheers,

Re: 24-1-15 From Garden Spotting Location West Lancs

Good evening Mike,

These pictures always impress me! I also live in an ideal location for viewing many transatlantic flights at 30,000+ feet. I hope to try some of these pictures for myself if the weather would improve.

Good afternoon,

I'm not usually keen on edited photographs, tend to prefer the natural image, but these are incredible! Especially, the Emirates A380!

Re: Dublin 3 holer

Hi Paul,

This is a fantastic set of aircraft! Looks like I'll need to pay a visit to DUB next time I'm across the Irish Sea. I'm rather jealous of the MD-11! I'm yet to see one with the naked eye never mind photograph one. Is it a regular visitor?

Mr Empson,

Thank you for your reply. I imagine there is much more truth to that than not. I notice that the tail logo shares a lot in common with the coat of arms of Qatar.

I think it is very safe to say they are both heavily linked to the State of Qatar!

Re: Glasgow visit

Hi, Glasgow is to me an excellent airport for getting good views and even better photographs. There are plenty of excellent viewing areas around the North, East and West of the airport. The South is mainly dominated by the M8 motorway and private fields. The A726 runs between the airport perimeter f...

Mr Empson,

Do you have any information as to who owns these aircraft? I was told that they belong to Qatar Amiri Flight. However, a seach of the internet show it generally cannot agree as to who owns them.

Re: DWilson212's Photostream

Thanks very much, Mike. This, sadly, is the last of my decent quality photographs for now. I hope to get back out very soon, weather permitting.

Luckily, GLA is looking to be very interesting this summer with more long range flights (using 747's, 787's, ...).
