Hi !
Does anyone have an I/D for the beautiful pre-war RAF all-yellow monoplane that flew over York at 1440 local last Saturday (19/5) ?
I'm guessing at a Miles Magister or Hawk Trainer (I think, wearing it's military serial), but more than happy to be corrected !

Not quite an 'explosion-in-a-paint-factory' but.... Single engine (PA 28-ish size, maybe slightly bigger), fixed u/c, with blue fuselage, bright yellow tail and a red engine cowling. Southbound on the M6, passing Jct 43 (A69 Carlisle/Newcastle) at 1000 on Tuesday Feb 23rd, was what looked like a Super Puma in Bristows colours, on the back of a low-loader.

Any information gratefully received !

Would anyone (apart from the pilot of Quantum G-CCIH, who, knowingly or not, seemed to join the formation.....) know the serials/regs of the Spitfire and Hurricane that orbited Dover Castle (or possibly the memorial to 2,3,4 & 5 Sqns) at about 1630 on Saturday September 27th ? Could anyone confirm that the DC3 northbound at about 1,500ft near Benson, at 1435 local on Sunday June 22nd, was ZA947 on it's way home ?
