Thanks for the info .I saw G-HIJK mentioned on Fighter Control and looked on web images and it was definitely the aircraft that I saw, the inverted wingtips were sensors.Our weather must be very interesting at the mo!Thanks again.

This afternoon a low wing low tail twin piston engine aircraft flew over twice over Jacobstow near Bude.The aircraft appeared to have downturned wingtips as opposed to upturned wingtips seen on most air liners.The aircraft also seemed to have sensors of some sort on the wings it was hard to make out...

Thanks for that info sussex to devon, it's been flying over us most of the afternoon in warmer conditions than its used to perhaps.A pretty aircraft to see.Only managed to catch VP through the binos.

red twin otter at Newquay 11-7-13
I have seen what appears to be a red twin otter of the British Antarctic Survey flying over Kilkhampton today 11/7 and the last 2 days at least does anyone have an an idea of what it might be up to?I wondered if it is flying out of Newquay at the mo?
