Re: Heathrow
Brings back memories. I used to go down from Northolt on my afternoons off and spend time on the viewing terrace which was on 'Queens Building' ? Spent some time working out of a portacabin at Fields when our runway was closed for resurfacing and we operated the 32 Squadron HS125s from LHR.

Apologies for the quality, I've only got two Fokker aircraft in my archive - and this is the best! TAT F27 F-BUTA at LHR in 1978. Not competition quality but it helps the entry numbers...

Re: HKG-6/G-BPCL @ Duxford - 01/02/24
Very nice. :D Thankyou. Back in my day at Kai Tak HKG-6 was an Alouette... Indeed it was, before going on to be HKG-3 (which had also been used for another Alouette and would also be a Dauphin). https://www.helis.com/database/org/Royal-Hong-Kong-Auxiliary-Air-Force/ I have a photo (1976) of an Alou...

Wonderful selection there. I actually photographed G-STAR at Northolt in 1978. Those were the days.

I'll kick this off with Concorde demonstrator F-BTSC in the morning sunshine at Kai Tak, Hong Kong in 1976. Actually parked on the RAF part of Kai Tak ready for a party in the evening.

OK,change of photo for clearer and closer view. Famous/infamous, Kai Tak airport Hong Kong. Wonderful images, so jealous. I haven't been out to do a shoot like that since the late 1970's.

Nice set of pictures, a place I haven't been to yet. Noticed on the wall behind 'White 14' are pieces of 'Black 6' from its unfortunate demise at Duxford.

Great photos. I've got one of G-AREA when it visited Northolt in 1978, but in a different colour scheme.
